MODULAR SOUNDPROOFING BOX FOR AN - ANM FEEDER

As the result of several years of studies and tests G.P.A. presents
a modular soundproofing box with good efficiency at reasonable
costs.
Together with a high noise reduction the main characteristic is
the unit composed construction which allows the complete handling
by one operator only. The noise reduction which can now be achieved
is shown in the graphic herebelow where the reference level (O
dBA) is the feeder without soundproof. Noise levels are at one
meter on the lateral side.

G.P.A. feeders are foreseen, in the standard version, to be placed
on machines installed in areas protected by trip devices for person
monitoring.
In the "long feeding stroke" mode (in this mode the feeder controls
the press) the press control must foresee a mode for feeder operation
which should take into account the relevant safety standards,
to be connected to the safety circuits of G.P.A. electrical board.
Today G.P.A. electrical boards provide feeders of the safety devices
foreseen in the "machinery" directive:

emergency device interfaced with the press, discharges the air from the movement
cylinder, but keeps the material blocked into the fixed clamp.

reset system after emergency or pneumatic or electric energy failure.

interface circuits with the press control for the different modes of operation.
